Premiile MTV Video Music Awards 2017: artiștii nominalizați

Nominalizările pentru ediția de anul acesta a competiției muzicale MTV Video Music Awards au fost anunțate, iar Kendrick Lamar se află în fruntea listei, cu opt nominalizări, fiind urmat de Katy Perry și The Weeknd, fiecare cu câte cinci.

Gala de decernare a premiilor, care va avea loc pe 27 august în California și care va fi prezentată de Katy Perry, aduce și câteva schimbări: după modelul de la MTV Movie & TV Awards, unde au fost eliminate categoriile diferențiate pe bază de gen, categoriile Best Female Video și Best Male Video vor fi transformate într-una singură. În plus, va exista şi o nouă categorie, numită Best Fight Against The System, ce va evidenția clipurile muzicale care inspiră publicul să lupte împotrivă nedreptății.
