O mulțime de vedete, modele, fotografi, editori de modă și socialites și-au făcut apariția în New York, seara trecută, în Hammerstein Ballroom. Motivul? Cele mai importante premii din industria fashion, cele care desemnează cei mai buni designeri ale colecțiilor de femei și bărbați și cei mai creativi designeri de accesorii. Beyoncé a fost desemnată Fashion Icon al anului, în timp ce Marc Jacobs a luat mult-râvnitul premiu de designer al anului. Premiile date de Council of Fashion Designers of America (numite Oscarurile modei) au fost prezentate de către entertainerul Joel McHale.
